Location

St Jidgey is a small hamlet located within the postal area of St Issey, Wadebridge.  St Jidgey appears on very few maps so please follow our directions to find us.  Some of our customers who have tried to use satellite navigation to get to us have been taken through some very small back lanes even though we are on the actual A39!

Address & Telephone:
Halfway House Inn, St Jidgey, Near St Issey, Cornwall, PL27 7RE
Tel  01208 812524

How to reach us from the A30 or A38:

Exit at Bodmin and take the A389 toward Wadebridge, after Sladesbridge do not take the turn off to Wadebridge, stay on the A389 to next roundabout and take the A39 signposted toward Truro and the Royal Cornwall Showground.  Drive past the Showground and remaining on the A39 you will find us on the right hand side 2 miles further on.  If you reach another roundabout you have gone too far and missed us!  Alternatively remain on the the A30 to Roche exit, then follow the old A30 route toward St Columb Major, taking the 4th exit at the St Columb roundabout toward Wadebridge. At the next roundabout (Winnards Perch) go straight over, we are approx 4 miles further on, on the left hand side.  Do not take the turn off for St Issey, we are on the A39.

When driving from the Newquay direction, the pub is on the left hand side – if you get to Whitecross you have gone too far!

If driving from Padstow, we are located on the A39 between the two Padstow turnoffs, the A389 and B3274.
